Stratostructure has grown to be a leading construction company in Papua New Guinea today. With each project that Stratostructure has delivered, it has raised the bar in every performance area – from compliance of strict standards and delivery timing to quality of work in every detail.
Complementing this vast home ground experience gained over the past two decades, Stratostructure has also built up an extensive range of in-house capabilities to complete projects from start to finish.
Since the formation in January 2012, Stratostructure has taken over the overall operations and projects of HG Construction (Homeguard Limited) that was incorporated in the year 1989 and had operated from its own premises at Section 38, Allotment 24 & 25, Gordons Industrial Area, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
In January 2012, the management decided to restructure the company to meet the current trend of construction Industries in Port Moresby and came up with Stratos Group of Companies.
Under the Stratos Group of Companies are Stratostructure, Stratostream, Megatron Electrical moved its operating office to Section 516, Allotment 27b, Waigani, opposite to Waigani apartment and its manufacturing and fabrication are in its Laloki premises.
The 3,830m2 of Stratostructure steel fabrication yard and Stratostream steel roll forming and bit house manufacturing facilities, staff accommodation and warehousing are situated at Portion 3179, Granville, Laloki on a 6,794 m2 land.
Stratostructure has managed and completed many prominent projects for private investors and government bodies throughout Papua New Guinea. Since it started, it has successfully completed the following projects:

At the present moment it is building an eight storey office complex for Dynasty Estate with contract value of K36 million. This project is 2 months ahead of schedule and is expected to be handed over by end of December 2015.
Based in Port Moresby with a permanent staff of almost one hundred fifty (150) specialists and crew, Stratostructure delivers top notch construction expertise throughout the country. Stratostructure also recognise the workmanship produced by Papua New Guinean tradesmen are declining due to the fact that there is high demand in Pacific Games and LNG projects. With that reason in mind it has employed forty (40) Indonesian tradesmen to fill this gap with the intention to produce quality finish project.
Stratostructure has in its possession over K4 million, construction and earth moving machineries that are readily available to be dispatch to contract work and outside hire. Machineries ranging from tower crane, mobile crane, excavator, roller, grader, backhoe, tipper truck to smaller machinery. It has a small plant hire division specialising in plant hirebusiness.
Stratostructure has a strong maintenance division that deals with smaller and maintenance projects. It has four (4) maintenance team and each team operates with a 1.5 ton trucks headed by an Indonesian maintenance manager with it crew of five (5) mixed Indonesian and PNG tradesmen.
The ability to provide comprehensive service under one roof is a hallmark of Stratostructure. The company now offers the broadest range of building development capabilities in all of Papua New Guinea to handle projects of practically every size.
Stratostream is a manufacturer of a comprehensive range of roll form products such as trimdek, custom orb, weatherboard, bondek, ceiling batten, purlin, door frame, flashing and stud. It sources its colorboard and galvanized coil from New Zealand Steel which is owned by BlueScope, Australia. Its roll form products are of the highest quality and comply with PNG, Australia and New Zealand standard.
Stratostream is also manufacturing steel kit house that is now in the infant stage of this industry and will update on the next development.
Stratostream is also involved in general trading of building industry material in intent basis or project basis. Its products are now already being used in many Port Moresby building projects, providing clients not only savings but peace of mind with a consistent,high-quality supply.
Megatron Electrical is an electrical and mechanical contractor owned by Stratostructure and was formed to undertake sub contract works with Stratostructure and Stratos Group of Companies. Megatron is also involved with electric fence, fire detection system, security alarm system and access control system.
